Ari was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the U.S. in 1996.  He arrived not knowing how to speak English. Sports became his initial connection to his new home.  He graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism in 2013.  He has become a leading Houston sports journalist.  He is a Murrow and Emmy award-winning sports anchor and reporter
