The Kaplan Museum of Judaica at Congregation Beth Yeshurun is delighted to announce its Annual Lecture on Sunday, January 12th, at 4:00 PM followed by a wine and cheese reception and tour of the collection. Gabriel Max Goldstein, formerly Associate Director of Exhibitions and Programs and also Interim Director and Chief Curator at Yeshiva University Museum, will give a seasonally appropriate talk.

Goldstein received undergraduate and graduate degrees in multiple disciplines from the University of Toronto and the Bard Graduate Center in Fine Art History, History, Judaism, Decorative Arts and Material Culture, and then studied for two years at Yeshivat HaMivtar in Jerusalem. He is a recognized authority on Jewish Ceremonial Art and has lectured at Wesleyan, Columbia, University of North Carolina, and Stern College.
