Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Talia Belle Rosenblatt, daughter of Robyn & Kevin Rosenblatt, sister of Ellie and Ian, granddaughter of Amy Kapiloff and David Kapiloff^z"l and Bernadean & Bernard^z"l Rosenblatt. Talia is a 7th grader at St. Johns School where she plays field hockey and softball and enjoys participating in theatre productions. Outside of school, Talia loves hanging out with friends, baking and being creative. She made and sold unity bracelets for her mitzvah project to raise money for the Anti Defamation League. Talia is participating in the Rabbi’s 10 percent plan, contributing 10 percent of her monetary gifts to the ADL to fight all forms of hate speech.    

Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Lila Henri Schlanger, daughter of Kimberly & Jason Schlanger, sister of Owen Schlanger, granddaughter of Elaine Freedman Epstein, Dr. Steven Epstein, Beth & Lee Schlanger and great-granddaughter of Sylvia Freedman. Lila is a 7th grader at St. John's School where she is currently playing soccer. Outside of school, Lila enjoys hip hop dancing at Vdance Academy and spending time with friends. Lila spends her summers at Lake Bryn Mawr Camp in Pennsylvania where she recently completed her 5th summer. For her mitzvah project, Lila is collecting books for Books Between Kids, an organization that provides books to Houston's at risk children. She is also participating in the Rabbi's Ten Percent Plan by giving to The Jewish Federation Support for Israel Fund. Lila is excited to share her Bat Mitzvah with her oldest friend, Talia Rosenblatt.
