Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Sophie Ryan Churchill, daughter of Edit & Sean Churchill, sister of Hannah and Emma, granddaughter of Drora & Mario Grossman, Dee Churchill, and Michael Churchill. Sophie is a 7th grader at Pin Oak Middle School. She enjoys swimming, singing, and dancing. For her Mitzvah project, Sophie and her forever friends and B'nai Mitzvah partners, Lila Goldfarb and Avery Wigder organized an art and bake sale to raise money for making kits and distributing them to homeless shelters. Sophie will participate in the Rabbi's ten percent plan for charitable giving.

 

Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Lila Brooke Goldfarb, daughter of Rysse & Brian Goldfarb, sister of Sam and Josie, granddaughter of Anita and Jeff Bayer, Susan and Robert Goldfarb, Vann Pressley, and Rhonda Pressley of blessed memory. She is a seventh grader at Trafton Academy where she enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, and tennis. Lila loves everything Percy Jackson and makes a mean guacamole. With her forever friends, Sophie Churchill and Avery Wigder, she organized an art and bake sale to raise money for her Mitzvah project which was putting together kits and distributing them to Houston's homeless. She will be participating in the Rabbi's Ten Percent plan for charitable giving.

Mazel tov to our Bat Mitzvah, Avery Rose Wigder, daughter of Bianca & Matt Wigder, sister of Makayla and Alex, granddaughter of Philip & Kay Levin, Sheryl Levin & Avner Ramu, and Mark & Carol Wigder. Avery is a seventh grader at The Emery/Weiner School where she enjoys performing in plays and musicals. Avery loves everything Broadway and hanging out with her friends. Along with her amazing B’not Mitzvah partners and forever friends Sophie Churchill and Lila Goldfarb, she organized an art and bake sale to raise money for her Mitzvah Project to make and distribute kits to Houston's homeless. She will be participating in the Rabbi's Ten Percent Plan for charitable giving.
