Mazel tov to our Bar Mitzvah, Lane Charles Gandler, son of Laurel and Greg Gandler; brother of Daphne; grandson of Claudia Duncan and Daniel Duncan and the late Arthur and Connie Gandler; great grandson of the late Leah Wiesen. Lane is a seventh grader at Pin Oak Middle School, where he plays trombone in Advanced Band and takes part in Broadcast Journalism. Lane also plays the piano and enjoys spending summers at Camp Young Judaea Texas. For his mitzvah project, Lane sponsored a family through Houston Children’s Charity, Adopt-A-Family program, where he collected and delivered toys and gifts for the holiday season for a single mother and her three children. Lane will donate a portion of his monetary gifts as part of the Rabbi’s 10% plan.
