Join us MLK Weekend for a Beth Yeshurun Mitzvah Day!

We have opportunities for Families (PreK and up) as well as Teen/Adult (13 years and up)

Most of our offsite opportunities have limits on group size, so please REGISTER ASAP!

As part of Mitzvah Day we are collecting for Undies for Everyone.  Please bring new/unopened packages in sizes BOYS SMALL (6-8) OR GIRLS 4T

• Alexander Jewish Family Service Shabbat Boxes - Assemble Shabbat boxes for JFS Chaplaincy to distribute at hospitals (Teen/Adult)
• Brookdale Galleria, The Tradition Buffalo Speedway, and The Village of Meyerland Snack Bags - Assemble/Decorate snack and gift bags for senior centers (Families)
• CASA of Harris County - Assemble Birthday Bags for CASA clients (Families)
• Foster Love - Decorate and assemble Birthday Boxes to be gifted to children in local foster care (Teen/Adult)
• Houston SPCA - Make fabric toys and bandannas for animals (Families)
• Kids' Meals Snack Bags - Assemble/Decorate snack bags for Kids' Meals to distribute to at-risk children (Families)
• Second Servings/Nora's Home - Assemble snack bags for Nora's Home, a lodging facility for transplant patients and families (Families)
• Texas Children's Cancer & Hematology Center - Assemble goodie bags with positive notes for patients and families (Families)
• Undies for Everyone - Unpack and repackage undies to be distributed to children in need (Families)

• Celebration Company - 10:15a - 12:00p - Rolling Candles (Teen/Adult)
• Houston Food Bank - 9a - 12p - Working in the warehouse (Families)
• Periwinkle Foundation - 10a - 12p - Assembling craft bags for hospitalized children (Teen/Adult)
• The Medallion - 10:45a - 12p - Bingo with residents (Teen/Adult)
