Non-Jewish parents, grandparents, and family members, join Rabbi Sarah Fort for a 3-part series on Raising Jewish Children. Our non-Jewish families and friends are an important part of creating positive Jewish memories and identities for our children. As part of our series, we will refer to Anita Diamant’s “How to Raise a Jewish Child: A Practical Handbook for Family Life” and discuss practical ideas for being an integral part of our children’s Jewish spaces, communities, holidays, and life cycle events.
Our discussions will be over Zoom, so if you have family or friends that are not local that would like to participate we are happy for them to join us!
In our April meeting we will talk about Passover and Easter. This time of year can be especially challenging in balancing both holidays! We will also compare notes on our Hanukkah and Christmas experiences.
Open to the community. Thanks to a generous sponsor, the program is free of charge and includes the 3 Zoom meetings and Diamant’s book.
**In the Notes below, please give us your mailing address to send you the book!**
