The holiday of Purim is named for the pur, or tile, that Haman drew to pick the date of his evil plans that were then thwarted by the brave Queen Esther. What better way to celebrate the upcoming holiday of Purim on this Rosh Chodesh for the month of Adar than with the quintessential Jewish tile game of mah-jongg? Bring your current card and join other Jewish women (bat mitzvah age and up!) to enjoy great company, taste delicious wines (both with and without alcohol - it's going to be Purim soon!), and, of course, play mah-jongg!
Don't worry if you're not a Mah-Jongg player. We will have some other "tile" games, like Rummikub and Scrabble.
Everyone who registers will also get a raffle ticket for some fun mah-jongg items from our Gift Shop.
RSVP by Thursday, February 27 to secure your spot so we can have tables set and enough wine for everyone!
*If you have a twosome or foursome that you know you'd like to play with, put that in the notes!
*If you are willing to bring a mah-jongg set for your foursome to use, please put that in the notes, too!
Save the dates for our remaining sessions!
