Sole Loved is a local non-profit that collects shoes for kids in need.  Sole Loved works closely with teachers, nurses and school Social workers at Title 1 and low-income schools to make sure that EVERY child that needs a good and decent pair of shoes, has one. Since Jan 2019, they have provided over 2,000 pair of shoes to children from 11 local schools, across 4 districts!

We are accepting new shoes, used shoes (no rips, tears or major flaws), and cleats of all genders! No flip-flops, house slippers, boots or heels please. All size shoes are needed, including adult sizes for our big kids and teens!

If possible, tie your shoes together by their laces.  Drop off your donations in the Sole Loved bins:

• In the Bender Levy lobby (the synagogue entrance by the circle drive)
• In the BYDS School lobby
• Throughout Sukkot - Tuesday, September 21st - Wednesday, September 29th during synagogue/school hours.  We will also have the bins out at all of our Sukkot events!
• If you don't have shoes to donate, you can:

  • Purchase shoes from our Amazon Wish List.  Please pick out any color and any size of these versatile, unisex shoes.
