Join us as “Stars of the Sixties” returns to the Stafford Centre, and we welcome one of the most legendary vocal groups in the history of American music - The 5th Dimension! In 1967, the 5th Dimension recorded the song “Up, Up and Away,” which catapulted the group to instant stardom. Countless magazine covers, world tours, and several Grammys later, the 5th Dimension is recognized as one of the most prolific soul R&B groups in musical history - over 25 million in sales, 22 Top 40 hits, 14 gold records, six platinum records, six Grammy Awards, and five No. 1 songs, including “Wedding Bell Blues,” “One Less Bell to Answer,” “Last Night I Didn’t Get to Sleep At All,” and the iconic “Aquarius / Let the Sunshine In.” They have performed on the world’s most famous stages, including Radio City Music Hall alongside Frank Sinatra and the Hollywood Bowl, and delivered unforgettable television performances on the Ed Sullivan Show, Soul Train and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Original member Florence LaRue and company continue to deliver dynamic performances that stand the test of time and captivate audiences from Las Vegas to Manila,  Philippines.

Joining them will be The Happenings, who will take you on a journey through some of the greatest hits of the '60s and '70s, including their own international smashes, “See You in September,” “Go Away, Little Girl” and “I Got Rhythm.” The incredible sound of The Happenings is as good today as it was in the 1960s.  Together, these two acts will create an electric atmosphere that will have you up on your feet and moving to the beat.

Join fans from across the Houston Jewish community for a fun evening of music from the 60s!  Our group includes fans from Beth Yeshurun, Emanu El, Beth Israel, Brith Shalom, HCRJ, and the ERJCC Houston.  

 There are two ticket choices:

1st 9 rows from the stage:  $79 each | 1st 2 rows of the 2nd level:  $61 each

Pick up your tickets at the dinner.  Any tickets not picked up by 7:00 pm will be at the Box Office/Will Call under the purchaser's name.
