Beth Yeshurun Family Retreat returns with a new location at Moody Gardens in Galveston! Spend Shabbat with your Beth Yeshurun clergy and Jewish country musician Joe Buchanan, then explore all the activities and attractions Moody Gardens has to offer. From Jewish learning and Shabbat services to a paddlewheel boat ride, visiting the aquarium, or relaxing by the pool, there is truly something for all ages and interests.

The retreat is open to all Beth Yeshurun and Beth Yeshurun Day School members and their families.

Enjoy breakfast before joining us for one of two Shabbat Morning Service options
Lunch followed by Afternoon Activities
Activities Include: Moody Gardens all-access activity pass including Rain Forest, Aquarium, and Discover Museum; Group boat ride on the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat; Pool, playground
Dinner followed by Havdalah and Good byes

** Option to stay Saturday night with after dinner activities and light pastry breakfast on Sunday**

Nestled amongst the lush palm trees and tropical gardens, this unique island resort hotel offers the iconic Moody Gardens pyramids with a variety of world-class attraction to make your island getaway one to be remembered. Our Galveston accommodations provide ample comfort and professional service to ensure your stay is relaxing and refreshing.

Two Queen Bedroom: These spacious 500-square-foot guestrooms include two queen size beds with upscale amenities, like plush bathrobes, lighted vanities, full-length mirrors, extra pillows, mini refrigerators, and nightly turndown service. Hi-tech appointments include two 2-line telephones, wireless internet, complimentary Wi-Fi, and in-room safes.

King Bedrooms: Our King Bedrooms are appointed with one king size bed and a sofa sleeper, totaling 500 square feet. Deluxe amenities, like plush bathrobes, lighted vanities, full-length mirrors, extra pillows, and nightly turndown service (upon request), compliment the hi-tech appointments, which include two 2-line telephones, wireless internet, mini fridges, and in-room safes.

In the event that you are unable to attend and would like to receive a full refund, cancellation requests must be received and confirmed by Beth Yeshurun prior to the close of registration.
