You are invited to Brachot – Rebuilding Beth Yeshurun in honor of Rabbi David B. Rosen, at 7:00 p.m. on May 23, 2018 at The Hobby Center. The evening will feature an original cantata composed by Cantor Meir Finkelstein and is chaired by Bruce Stein and Alice Small.
Brachot is a celebration of gratitude to Rabbi Rosen for his leadership and guidance for over 22 years as Senior Rabbi of Congregation Beth Yeshurun. Rabbi Rosen has shared countless life cycle events with congregants and helped to build extraordinary bridges to Houston’s interfaith community. Rabbi Rosen continues to help his congregants navigate the tragic losses from Hurricane Harvey in the face of his own loss of his own home. Please join our rebuilding efforts for Congregation Beth Yeshurun and honor Rabbi Rosen’s retirement.
Ticket pricing begins at $36.00 per person and premium seating begins at $540.00 per person. Tickets may be purchased through the Ticket Central desk located in the Heritage Room at the synagogue from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday beginning on March 5. Main entrance of Congregation Beth Yeshurun Named in Honor of Rabbi David B. Rosen
The main entrance of the newly rebuilt Congregation Beth Yeshurun shall be named in honor of Rabbi David B. Rosen. Rabbi Rosen, who has served our Congregation for over 22 years, has dedicated his professional life to our synagogue, and as such, it is only fitting that the entrance to our spiritual home be named in his honor.
Funds donated in support of this Flood Recovery effort will be utilized to provide our students and our families with their much needed facilities and books to bring our Jewish community back together and become whole. As the largest Conservative synagogue in the United States, we are determined to rebuild!
Gifts to the Beth Yeshurun Recovery Effort may be made by check, credit card, gifts of appreciated securities, life insurance beneficiary designation or through any foundation. Pledges of $25,000 or more can be paid over 3 years and pledges of $50,000 or more can be paid over 5 years. All donations are tax-deductible.
