It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of
Brian Granquist
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Brian Granquist, our beloved accompanist and friend. Brian came to Beth Yeshurun to play for our first Friday Night Alive service in December 1999. He brought with him no knowledge of Jewish music, but over the next 21 years, Brian became an expert in accompanying our cantors, choirs, and B'nai Mitzvah students. We were truly blessed to have Brian as part of our congregational family for so long and he will be deeply missed.
