Yizkor
Yizkor is approaching, a time to honor the memory of our loved ones. Yizkor services will be held in 5785 on Yom Kippur, October 12; Shemini Atzeret, October 24; Passover, April 20; Shavuot, June 3.
Our Congregational Yizkor Book will highlight the names of our dear family and loved ones. The book will be distributed at the synagogue on Yizkor and will also be available via mail or pickup at the synagogue the week before Yizkor. An electronic version of the Yizkor Book will be available on our website.
To ensure the names of your loved ones are included in the Passover Addendum for the 5785 Yizkor Book, please submit the form by Monday, April 14. Names received after April 14 may not be printed in this Addendum but will be included in future addenda.
Additionally, the form for the Reverent Tribute section of our Yizkor Book, honoring Beth Yeshurun members of blessed memory who served in the U.S. military, is available online. Once a name is included in this section, no further submission is needed in subsequent years. However, if your loved one is not yet listed, please provide their name so we can add them to the Reverent Tribute section.
Please complete these forms online by Monday, April 14. Should you have any questions, please contact Meredith directly at 713.255.8008 or msegal@bethyeshurun.org
We are deeply thankful for your support and hope that Beth Yeshurun’s Yizkor Book of Remembrance provides a source of comfort for you and our Congregation.
