Budget Review for 2022-23 The meeting is open to all members in good standing. Please register below.
Dear Congregant,
I am very pleased to inform you that the Board of Trustees reviewed and approved a tentative budget for the next fiscal year (2022-2023). Discussion and final vote on the budget will take place at the Board meeting on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 7:30pm, in Stein Hall.
As specified in our Constitution, the portion of this Board meeting relating to the budget is open to all members in good standing of the Congregation. You are welcome and encouraged to join us at the beginning of the Board meeting which will be dedicated to the budget discussion. This portion of the meeting usually lasts 15 to 20 minutes. After the Board considers the budget, the meeting will continue for Board members only.
A summary of the proposed budget is presented on the reverse side of this letter. We have been able to balance the budget with 4% global dues increase for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Every expense line and every opportunity for revenues has been thoroughly reviewed.
I want to express our gratitude to the hard-working members of the Budget Committee, especially committee chair Jon Feiwell, each of whom worked many, many hours to achieve this balanced budget. I would also like to thank all the members of our Board of Trustees, Controller Nicole DeLoach, and Executive Director Andy Burger.

When we laugh together, we are together! Comedy is about more than just punchlines and jokes. It’s about connection. Since 2001, Joel has entertained and connected with more than 1,000 audiences in 10 countries -- including the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia, JNF National Conference, AIPAC, the General Assembly, the URJ and USCJ Biennials, Limmud cultural arts fests in the UK and US, Montreal Just-for-Laughs, Israeli late-night TV, and college and club dates in North America, the Far East, and Europe. Laughter. Joy. Community. That’s why Joel does what he does. That’s the Comedy of Joel Chasnoff.
