Prior to that appointment, he was a deputy district attorney in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. Michael McKay with Gospel Music Haus and Museum, Gospel music advocate Carl Davis, and Martin Cominsky with Interfaith Ministries, to host a Black History Month Celebration Tour in Houston February 26-28.
Memoirist and Presidential Diarist for President Bill Clinton and author of "Only on Sunday, Mahalia Jackson's Long Journey," Janis Kearney, will be at Beth Yeshurun Monday, February 27th. She will share her story and her journey in writting the book about the iconic Mahalia Jackson on this amazing tour.
