Rosh Chodesh Nisan is home to the month of Passover, where we celebrate freedom from slavery. We may be free now, but to what else are we chained in our modern lives? We'll discuss! Related is the translation of Egypt, or "Mitzrayim" as "narrowness." And as on Passover we celebrate "going from narrowness to freedom," we'll be joined by fat positivity activist, model and singer Lily Rose, who will speak on body image, Passover, fat positivity, and how the language we use has an effect on how we view ourselves.
We invite you to share with us your simchas - births, engagement, weddings, or award and recognitions. Fill our Mazel Tov form with your information a picture and share your great news with the rest of the congregation. Click here to Submit your Simcha!
