Thursday, May 25th | 5:00pm - 6:30pm | Preschool Playground (weather permitting) $10 per family - Family Shavuot is open to the community - please register
Tradition says that we stay up all night studying for Shavuot - so for our young families, we will have a "sleep under" instead of a sleepover. Wear your pjs (grown-ups, too!) and have fun with crafts, activities, and inflatables for Shavuot and enjoy dinner and, of course, an ice cream bar! We are excited to partner with PJ Library and the Jewish Federation of Houston to bring you this fun, family program!
Join us for our annual CanCare Shabbat, where we celebrate cancer survivors and caretakers and recognize the tremendous resource that CanCare is for our community. We welcome Kris Kerlin, Director of Mission Impact at CanCare, as our special guest speaker. Click here for more information
This is a great volunteer opportunity for tweens and teens! Sunday, June 4th at 1:00pm
We will be packing snacks, decorating bags, and collecting juice boxes for the organization, Kids' Meals. We will provide all the supplies that will be packed in the bags. If your teen/tween needs volunteer hours let us know! When registering, please list your child's name in the notes.
We're also kicking off the Summer Juice Box Drive!
Beth Yeshurun is supporting Kids' Meals Houston's mission by participating in the 2023 Summer Juice Box Challenge. Purchase juice boxes to be sent directly to Kids' Meals Houston. Use their Juice Box Challenge website and an additional 5% of the retail value will go back to Kids' Meals Houston! Our goal is to provide 2,000 juice boxes! We have met our goal the last 2 years! Help us get there again!
We invite you to share with us your simchas - births, engagement, weddings, or award and recognitions. Fill our Mazel Tov form with your information a picture and share your great news with the rest of the congregation. Click here to Submit your Simcha!
