HIGH HOLY DAYS PLEDGE 2023 | 5784 Your generous support is vital to our congregation, thank you!
This year we are honored to expand our High Holy Day Appeal with the creation of the Toby and Rabbi Jack Segal Education Initiative, which will support vital Jewish experiences and resources for children, teens and adult members of Congregation Beth Yeshurun to enhance their spiritual and intellectual connections to Judaism. With the strong support of Rhona and Bruce Caress, we are excited to launch this meaningful tribute, and upon reaching our Appeal goal, a portion of funds raised for the Chai Appeal will be allocated to the Toby and Rabbi Jack Segal Education Initiative, thereby allowing us to utilize this fund now and for years to come.
We are especially grateful for the members of the Tzedakah Society, a group of members, who are standing together to double the impact of your donation by matching Appeal pledges and contributions dollar for dollar.
The Israel Bonds program is a positive proactive economic expression of fondness for Israel. Every Israel bond purchased in 2023 is embedded with the ideals of the dreamers, founders, and builders of the State of Israel just like the first Israel bond sold 72 years ago. The funds generated by the sale of Israel bonds help grow and strengthen Israel’s global leadership in humanitarian aid, technology, and tolerance. Every Israel Bonds investment, donation or gift by a synagogue member strengthens and renews the connection of the members of our congregation to Israel and each other. Celebrate the New Year 5784 by sharing an Israel Bond with a family member or with a Shalom Bond donation to the synagogue or your favorite cause or community institution.
Friday, September 22 at 5:15pm Congregants of all ages, stop in the Skylight Lobby for a schmooze, a drink, and lite bites before Shabbat Renewal!
This month we will have a special High Holy Day inspired cocktail on our menu!
