Mindfulness Mini-Retreat: Being Mindful in Practice with Dr. Manizeh Mirza-Gruber
Sunday, October 22 | 1:00 - 4:00p | $20 per person Mindfulness has many benefits in practice for our body, mind, heart, and spirit. In these fast-paced, distracted, multitasking, 24/7 days, we are often swept away from recognizing what is arising in the present moment.
Through brief didactic teachings, guided meditations, experiential practices, sharing, and questions/answers, you will learn how being present for yourself allows you to be present and connect with others in your personal and professional life. You will be able to incorporate these teachings and practices into your daily life and nurture your heart with tenderness and kindness as you create a sense of emotional balance, ease, and self-care practices.
Wednesday, November 8 | Dinner at 6:30 pm & Program at 7:00 pm
Kick off the year with guest Charlie Pallilo: “The Latest in H-Town Sports News.” 100 Jewish Men is a group of men dedicated to improving themselves and each other as men, fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, friends, and Jews. Through controversial, thought-provoking speakers and small group discussions, we will explore what usually remains unspoken in men’s lives at work and at home. This year each event is a stand-alone program. There are no annual fees; you pay per dinner and/or program that you attend.Click here to Register
