Houston Food Bank Needs Volunteers Volunteers are essential to Houston Food Bank’s operations and are needed now more than ever.Individuals – including kids – as well as groups are welcome to volunteer, and registration can be done online for a shift(s). Crisis CleanUp Needs Spanish Speaking Volunteers Crisis Cleanup is in need of volunteers and organizations to sign up to claim homes/families to assist. Over 550 claims entered, only 1/3 have been claimed and helped. Click here for information on how to volunteer with Crisis CleanUp.

All residents who incur damage should report damages to the State of Texas using the iSTAT Damage Survey. Information is used to obtain potential state and federal resources. Results are confidential unless the resident allows their information to be shared with nonprofits.
Call 2-1-1 and 3-1-1 Harris County and City of Houston residents can call 3-1-1 for information about transportation, infrastructure, debris pick up, and other services. For post incident support and other needs, residents can call 2-1-1 for assistance.
Sharing your information with Crisis Cleanup, Call 832-509-2977. (“SE Texas Storms”). Nonprofit organizations registered with Crisis Cleanup log on to identify the residents’ needs and potentially help them. Crisis Cleanup is about short-term help.
Complete the Connective Surveyto connect to local resources and recovery organizations for the specific assistance they need. This is a way to connect for help with short-term, medium-term, and long-term recovery.
