We are excited to welcome Melissa Cohen-Nickels, Curator of the Joan and Stanford Alexander South Texas Jewish Archives at Rice University, as she reflects on the importance of sustaining this legacy and building on the foundation laid by those who came before us. Her sermon, A Legacy to Remember, A Future to Create, will inspire us all to consider how we can contribute to preserving and shaping the future of our community. Brothers For Life
Friday, December 13 at 6:00P in the Freedman Levit Sanctuary We'll meet Brothers for Life for the first time this Shabbat before they return to Houston with their full delegation in March 2025 with more programming and opportunities for engagement.
Brothers for Life is a non-profit organization, created and run by injured Israeli veterans, which gives critical and immediate help to other injured Israeli combat veterans who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the Jewish people.
